THE TEAM
MARIE-LAURE DE CLERMONT-TONERRE
Founder and Managing Director

After completing a DEA in Economic and Business Law at the Pantheon-Sorbonne, Marie-Laure pursued further studies at Sciences Po Paris (IEP). The Fondation Cartier pour l’Art Contemporain in Paris invited her to become part of its exclusive Vivre en Couleurs circle. In September 2019, the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris asked her to join its International Committee. That same year, Ralph Rugoff, former Director of the Hayward Gallery and Artistic Director of the Venice Biennale 2019, invited her to serve on the Commissioning Committee of the Hayward Gallery in London.
In 2015, Marie-Laure founded Spirit Now London, an international circle of collectors and patrons of art and culture. Each year, the group supports major institutions in London and abroad, such as the Hayward Gallery, the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, and the Bibliothèque Nationale de France. Within this philanthropic mission, Marie-Laure chairs The Spirit of Giving Committee, which oversees the "Spirit Now London Acquisition Prize -Donation to a Museum" with Frieze, now celebrating its fourth edition (2025, partnership with the National Portrait Gallery, Dr Flavia Frigeri).
Beyond the art world, in 2012 she published La Médecine Personnalisée (Éditions Odile Jacob), the result of in-depth research conducted with a team of general practitioners. Two further books followed, with more than 350,000 copies sold in France and translations into Lithuanian, Romanian, and Spanish.
